Mikros image completed three fully CGI films for Crédit Agricole’s latest international campaign. The campaign has been directed by Ben Hibon, produced by La Pac for the agency Aubert & Storch. The campaign stars in the actor Sean Connery in each of the three ads : Generic, Private bank and Retail bank. Mikros image’s crew was involved from the start, creating pre-vizualisation based on Ben Hibon’s supplied story and mood boards to aid the development of the scenes.

Private Bank

The three ads are based on the same structure. First, the ads opens on a grey and pessimistic setting and then lightens up once Sean Connery appears and delivers the message that calls to “common sense” and “green banking”. The scenes end up on an optimistic and beautiful setting bathed with light. The director, Ben Hibon, intended to convey a sense of “exaggerated reality” through the movies. To make this happen, VFX Supervisors attended many shoots to capture the settings and lights, paying attention to many details (props, etc). Mikros image’s objective was to push the photo realistic effect to its maximum. The ads will be on air from 23rd november 2009 in Europe (except France), Asia and Middle East.
